Rf preamplifier covers approx 5MHz to 950MHz, this unit has "F" connectors on each end and goes inline to the coax as close to the antenna as is practical. If the antenna is a closed circuit on the feed like a folded dipole a dc blocking capacitor (Alltronics p/n CF990) will need be employed between the antenna and the amp to protect the power supply (9 to 18 Volts dc) which will insert DC at the reciever end of the cable. Two of these may be cascaded together. CHEAP FUN!
