Grumman Air Actuated Cylinder
These air actuated cylinders were made for Grumman and were perhaps used to actuate the flaps on a Tie Fighter while zipping along in a vacuum. One unit is marked made made by the 'Houde Engineering Division', another is marked as made for Grumman by 'Electrol Inc', all of these appear to be identical.
The body length is adjustable by means of a knurled collar at each end. The actuator rod is 1.25" in diameter and it extends for 10", the body of the cylinder is 3.5" and it is about 12.5" long. Limited qty available.

Left Handed Veeblefetzer with Pillow Block
We don't know who kluged these up but they're kinda cool. Each shaft has about 2" of travel in a sturdy 3.5" long aluminum pillow block. the business end is adjustable with a threaded rod which can be locked down a ball bearing rides in the forked end that may have been a cam follower but we suspect that it was driven from the other end. The square bar can pivot on the rod and the clamp hub on the nether end may have clamped on a stub sticking out of a wheel sorta like the driving wheels on a locomotive. Wierd but clever.

Duff-Norton model M-5555-4 machine screw actuator 500 lb capacity. These are the 2" dia. top plate type aka upright translating screw. Eighty turns of the actuator will raise the acme screw one inch. This 80:1 ratio will allow for very precise adjustment of a load or tool for applications such as tooling machine bed adjustment, dish antenna adjustment, skew, roll, pitch, yaw and skim adjustments, pinch, gate and ball valve actuation, tensioning, braking and mouse control.

X-Y Assembly by Schneeberger
The linear guideways in this jewel are Schneeberger R3 075's, we're pretty sure they made the whole thing but there's no id to prove it. The right angle fixture is heavy cast aluminum and there is a spring loaded linear bearing on one face and a free floating on the other, the spring loads slide measures about 3 x 3 x .6" and the other about 3 x 2.6 x .6", both have about 1.25" of travel. The whole fixture is well made. The height is 4" the width is 3.5".

Precision Miniature Stage
Newport Optical Model 411-05S Miniature Stage is ideal for positioning applications in opto-mechanical instrumentation and laboratory experiments requiring linear motion within a small space. The translating platform rides on a precision ground rail using ball bearings rolling between opposing pairs of hardened and ground steel rods. The stages are preloaded to provide smooth, accurate motion. Ball-tipped 80-pitch screws are spring loaded against the platform to provide high resolution, low backlash performance.
The spring and drive are removable for applications requiring an externally driven linear slide. An array of mounting holes on both the platform and the rail provide a variety of convenient mounting options, including post-mounting on SP Series Posts. The stages are designed to stack for X-Y motion. Vertical motion may also be added using the Model 411B Bracket, which is reversible so a vertical stage can be mounted either for a low profile or to center a heavier load.
