Shinshuseki of Japan (p/n B21L080)put their name on these small dc motors.
They measure 2" long by 1.25" in diameter, the shaft is about 3/8" x 1/16" they run OK on 12 Volts but seem happy at 36 Volts too.

End Mount DC Motor
End mount motors look like they may have been used in tape decks, they run on 12 Volts and up, these husky little cans measure about 1.5"long and 1.5" in diameter, three mounting holes are in the end pad, the shaft measures approx 3/8" x 3/32". They are marked NEXD198.

12VDC Can Motor

These are made in China by Igarashi Electric Works (HK Ltd) (wow!); their part number is 2738-070-1034-07 (impressive).
This inexpensive can motor operates best on 12Vdc and draws about 150mA under load. It comes with a plastic gear which is easily popped off the 1/16" diameter x 1/4" long shaft. The motor itself measures 1" diameter x 1.75" long, solder tabs are on the rear there is also a shaft on the rear about the same as the one on the front. At this price keep a few handy. Large quantity available.
