This handling fee is for those customers who wish to place orders that are under the $20.00 minimum but would rather pay a handling fee than order additional merchandise. To use this just add the quantity to your cart that makes up the difference from the amount of your merchandise and the $20.00 minimum order, e.g. for an order of $18.25 then add 2x the $1 handling fee. Of course you are always welcome to just add additional items to the shopping cart to meet the $20 minimum and then no handling fee is required,
