Pump has two nipples; the red nipple is an inlet and the white nipple an outlet. Price is reduced because the manufacturer mis-marked the label as 220VAC. It does run stronger if connected to 220/230VAC, but this pump is designed to run on the standard 110/120VAC. (94U020)
