We usually see these holding a small capacitor as shown in the photo but they are also used to retain power resistors, large fuses and small lizards. These can be bolted to a chassis or riveted to a PC board to hold components that are in the 3/8" to 1/2" size range. Inquire about 100 lot pricing.
