This is a typical TV/game switch. It hooks to the cable input jack on the back of your TV or VCR or whatever and allows you to switch between two signal sources such as a game and a dish or antenna or DVD or VCR; any two sources. A person can build a matrix of these switches to switch between multiple signal sources. With the appropriate adapters baseband audio or video signals can be switched (see our part number CZFR1). The advantage of these type of switches is that they provide high signal isolation which is necessary in switching between TV (RF up to 1GHz+) or audio and video signals to reduce the possibility of bleedover / unwanted signal coupling which would result in distortion and interference.
