These laser diodes are very similar to the SDL # 7311 laser diodes in a sot-18 package. The output power is 30mW min in the 670 to 690 nm range (see downloadable spec sheet). These are low visible; the red beam is quite loud so take safety precautions during usage. Laser diodes are current driven devices and must be powered accordingly, if too much current is applied it will become a dark emitting device. All of these have been tested here and are functional when shipped. there is a ton of data on the care and feeding of this type of goodie on the internet; free! Large quantity available.
